I used to scour the internet looking for presets that fit my moody photography style - and ya know what? I had a hell of a time finding any.
If you're not the light and airy type of photographer then it can be hard to find presets that speak to who you are as an artist. There's tons of bright pink, harsh white and fully saturated presets out there - but very few that have muted tones, with gorgeous shadows and soft highlights that don't leave your photos muddy.
With that in mind I decided to share 3 of my own presets that I use in my editing - because editing galleries can be stressful enough as it is without having to worry about consistency and color management between your portraits. These presets are the ones I use in my own editing, so if you follow the Inspired Chicago feature series, you've definitely seen me use these babies on a lot of those portraits.
What I love most about these? Is that they create a consistent, cohesive base for your portraits, meant to give you a great starting point that you can spin into your own personal style. How cool is that, huh?
