Weekend in Washington, D.C.

I've heard about the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. and have wanted to see them for as long as I've heard about the way they cover the entire city in the smell of flowers. How much more romantic and gorgeous could that sound? Light, pink, fluffy flower petals covering the grass and soaking up the setting sun. While I didn't get to see the cherry blossoms on this trip to D.C., the city still had a charm that I really enjoyed, and being with one of the cutest boys in history certainly added to it. :) Though we only got to spend a weekend there, it was fun to go see the monuments, Martin Luther King Jr.'s park, and walk through the gardens around the ponds with our hands in our pockets and huddling together to shake off the cold.

I'm all about the mirror selfie. ;)
